There are 2 common myths when it comes to affiliate marketing. Myth number one is that its easy to get into. This is completely false. The 2nd myth is that it takes little work to make a lot of money. Again, this is just garbage to think this. Affiliate marketing takes a lot of work to get into and for it to be profitable. The only difference is you are starting a business online as opposed to offline. The start up cost might not be as high, which is why a lot of people get into affiliate marketing, but that does not mean that its easy to make money. Its hard. Why do you think a lot of people fail and give up? Maybe that you. But don’t worry. I’m going to give you a simple plan on how to break into affiliate marketing that anyone can follow. Without further ado, here it is.

First, your going to need to setup websites. Now don’t get all ancy. I already know what your saying in your head, ‘I don’t know how to make a website.”I don’t know how to setup a website and I can’t pay anyone because I don’t have the money.’ Guess what, you can be a total tech dud like myself and you don’t need to pay anyone anymore. Because we live in a beautiful age of technology, you can now create websites on the fly with simple software programs that can be bought online. That’s how I do it and I have no idea what programming or coding even is. Here is an example of one of my make money online websites where I sell a product from Ewen Chia titled Fast Track Cash The second part is your going to need to buy a domain name. It will cost you ten bucks for the entire year. Try and buy a domain name that has the keywords that you are targeting in it. They might be taken, but get creative with it. Third, you’ll need hosting. Go through host gator. It’ll cost about 10 bucks a month and their support is phenomenal. Next your going to have to pick some products to promote. Here is an easy tip to help you with this process. Sell products that moves people away from pain to pleasure. These people have a trying need to end whatever pain they are enduring. Examples are weight loss, acne problems, computer problems, back pain, bad breath, get the point? Also, don’t be scared if there is a product you want to promote that already has a lot of people promoting it. This just shows you that the sales copy is exceptional, the conversion rates are good, and that the product definitely sells so your not wasting your time.

Now that you have your product, have built a website, you’ll need to add content. Create 8-10 articles regarding whatever niche of the product or products your promoting. This looks good from the search engines perspective as well as the visitor on your site. The more content you have, the more Google will move you up the food chain in the SERPS. After you upload each article, don’t forget to ping your site with any type of pinging service. This alerts the search engines that you have updated your site and they need to check it out. After this, I would then start to add backlinks to my site so it can move up in the search engines. Start by writing articles and adding them to as many directories as possible. Then create some videos regarding the products your promoting and add those to the video directories. Create some blogs at blogger or wordpress to add content and get backlings too. Remember, there are many ways to gain these back links, not just articles or videos.

Above all else, remember you have to put the work and time in. If you don’t you will fail in your affiliate marketing endeavors.
